Don't Hurt My Heart

I've been listening to Mike Beck for a while now but I thought you guys might enjoy this song, especially those of you that don't usually go for western music.

If you use spotify he has one album on there that also has some cool songs.

There's nothing like the Rockies in the springtime... Nothing like the freedom in the air... And there ain't nothing better than draggin calves to the fire and there's nothing like the smell of burning hair. -Brenn Hill

Thoughts? Comments? Mike Beck is also a hell of a horseman. He was very close with Tom Dorrance and worked a while out in Nevada and Oregon. He's no pretender don't let the pony tail fool you.

Cool. Kinda like Tom Petty crossed with Neil Young/Crazy Horse. Definitely not your typical 'country music' song.-
I like it! :)

Very cool. I agree on the Tom Petty, I get a bit of a Bob Dylan vibe in there too. I really like it, thanks for sharing!

Here's another one. I don't know if any of you play the guitar (I don't) but I think this is pretty good playing especially for someone that is self taught.

If you guys have any WESTERN singers go ahead and post them. Please don't post anybody that lives in Nashville or LA.

He's from Monterey California so he had a lot of folk influence.

That's very nice. He reminds me a little bit of Bob Dylan , musically adept but doesn't have a very good singing voice. But since the spirit of the song is there, it doesn't matter if he can keep the note pure or not. I liked it.
