Earning money for Rolex - How much to charge?

Hey all!

I am working on earning some extra cash to make a trip to Rolex this year. The main point of going is to greatly expand my photography portfolio, and of course to see one of the biggest events in the horse world! I hope to build relationships, increase my skill set, and make some great connections.

To afford the trip, I am offering my photography and graphic design services. I am phrasing this as a "donation," and it would be nice to have an amount ie $20 donation, etc.

I don't know what a reasonable price to ask is, so I wanted to come here. I have some very basic examples of my graphic design (stallion ads, event ads, that kind of thing), and some photography examples, though I want to get better examples to use for the latter. I have had one person ask specifically about the stallion ads, another about a photoshoot and some stallion ads, and someone else interested in sale ad photos/ads. I have interest, I'm just not sure what to charge! Looking at "local competitors" has proved kind of useless because every site I've looked at has no pricing info.

What would YOU donate/pay for these services, for this cause? I need to raise about $500 one way or another. :)

Thanks, all.

One example:

I have said what I have said. I have not said what I have not said.

Let me rephrase: IF you were to make a donation for an ad like this, what would you donate?

I have said what I have said. I have not said what I have not said.

Bump? 100+ views and nobody says "you're crazy, I wouldn't pay anything..."? ;)

Also, quality of image above is low as it is a Facebook upload. It's 200dpi on the actual image.

I have said what I have said. I have not said what I have not said.
