Equestrian Vacations

I want to go on an equestrian vacation with my mom. We are willing to spend about $2500-$3000 for the whole thing but with obviously prefer less lol! Does anyone know any good sites? We would like to ride somewhere in the USA and we want to do like a week-long trip, especially if we are paying $2500. Let me know if you guys know of any places.

I've already checked out equestrianvacataions.com but none of them were close enough to home.

Thats what I want to do too! I want to take my daughter Ellie, she's only five, so I don't know how that would work.

But its something I've always wanted to do.

I'm Sixteen and my mom is now in her mid-40's and we haven't vacationed for over 8 years. We are well overdue. No one else in my family is horse-crazy like us so we figure it as a late sixteenth birthday present for me. (Most people get cars, well I get an equestrian vacation which beats a new car ANY day)

Do you want to take your own horses or have them supplied? You might check the Best of America by Horseback site. If you have RFD TV you may have seen the show. They do some places that you take your own horse and others where they will supply them.
Here is a link to the page with the rides they have highlighted on the show. There is another page that has riding areas by state. It might at least give you some ideas

The only ones we have been to are the one in Kansas and the one in Oklahoma.

Oh dear! There is a place I would dream to go to. It's out in Ireland and you go on a 2-7 days trail riding trip on Clydes! All they use is those gorgeous drafts.

The next place I would go to without a doubt.
