Famous jumping horse okidoki dies

Famous dutch jumping horse Okidoki has died at the age of 14 years old due to a septic shock. His new owner Josť Larocca and Albert Zoer (old owner) have confirmed this.

The whole dutch equestrian world is in shock by this terrible loss...

What a sad loss , Oki Doki was a fantastic horse and I really liked watching him at work R.I.P.

In a radio interview Albert Zoer stated that now a part of him is missing and that he was really shocked about the loss... no wonder, the horse was like Seabiscuit: very famous till the end. You could hear his broken voice over the radio...

Rest in peace, okidoki and thanks for the memories... you will not be forgotten.

Aw, I loved Oki Doki - I remember watching his 2009 round at Spruce Meadows and he was bucking between the jumps, such a character! But a great jumper and wonderful horse.
