    I really liked International velvet... I know most would disagree but I liked it better then National velvet... just by a little bit. ;)

    Some of my favorite horse books are:
    New Day For Dragon(It's based on a true story about one of the foundation sires for the POA's I think...)
    The Secret Horse
    The Island Stallion- by Walter Farley
    My Friend Flicka & Thunderhead- by Mary O'Hara(O'Hera?)
    There are a lot more, but I can't remember them right this minute. :P

    Flicka, Misty, Black Beauty and I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Little Black! It was in with all my Dr. Suess books.
