Basically just a lie to get you off the phone. It might ship but then again it might not. They will eventually get it to you though. You just have no idea when, and neither does the person who answers the phone.
So if I want to have it before spring I should order it soon?

Never order from Crazyropes by Debbie either. After 6 wks, not hearing from her, I contacted Paypal who was very nice got my money back. But she never returned my calls or emails, and Paypal said she didn't return theirs either. And, after it was too late I saw where BBB had the same complaint from another person.

I've ordered tack off of Amazon.com and was pleased wth service/product.

My favorites are Rod's & Schneiders.

Glad I'm not the only one! I spent waay over $100 on the animals this last month when I decided it was going to be a 'lighter' month!

I love Schneider Saddlery. They have affordable stuff and they make their own blankets. This is the only place I go for my training equipment and blankets for my Arabian because their stuff fits so well.

Meh, Dover is too expensive for me, but I did get my blanket from there and their customer service was easy to handle. State line tack really irked me when I bought a leather band hackamore for my birthday (in my avatar... AFTER I spent two days oiling and cleaning it.) It came to me with the leather all dry and brittle, it was the color of cardboard instead of the dark oil it promised, and the little pins were scratched with what seemed to be use.
The only place I've bought from repeatedly is Chicks, but I've never bought leather from them... mostly because I don't use leather LOL. I have good things to say about the things I have bought, rope halters, grooming supplies, hay nets, and a few misc things. They're always right on time, and they have pretty good prices.

So I'd say my favorite is Chicks.

I've never had any issues with stateline or schneiders. Horse.com (and their affiliates) are good for basic stuff like halters, grooming stuff, etc, though I wouldn't try to buy anything fancy/nice from them.

HorseloverZ is sort of on my 'iffy' list. Some good sales, and their customer service has been good when I email them, but it seems like they're always out of stock of whatever I order, and they don't update their site to reflect that. So when it's been a week, I still haven't gotten a shipping notice and I'm wondering wth is going on, I have to contact THEM to find out they are waiting on my stuff to get to them since they oversold. I still haven't gotten the order I made from them Black Friday, while all my other orders other places from the same day got here early last week. I've made two orders there, and don't think I will be making another. Easier to pay an extra dollar elsewhere to get what I order and in a timely manner.

In my experience, both Horseloverz and Chick's tend to take FOREVER to ship orders out. One time I ordered a bit from Chick's and it took them two weeks to send it.

Chick's also once sent me an item that was not what had been described on their site. I called them and they sent me a return label, took it back and refunded me.

The one time I used Smartpak's online tack shop, their computer decided to cancel both my orders. I called them, and the rep told me she'd reinstated the orders. A week passes, nothing comes, I call again. Turned out the rep I'd spoken to the first time hadn't done anything, and the orders remained deleted. So I had rep #2 reinstate them, and they were sent out, but they forgot one of the items I'd ordered. In the end it was straightened out, but it left an odd taste.

Equestrian Collections charged my card full price on a sale item. Reps were cooperative, and the shipment came within a few days.

Have had good experiences with Stateline, Horse.com, Schneiders, Valley Vet... there are others, but I'm blanking.

As far as I can understand, Horse.com and Stateline are the same outfit. Am I correct?
