Feeding a draft horse

I'm looking at purchasing a 17hh clyde belgian cross, I'm not sure what he would weigh. I'm wondering how much more a draft horse eats then a regular sized horse. I have thoroughbreds and quarter horses. The thoroughbreds definitely eat more than my QHs, but for example if I were feeding square bales, how many would he eat a day? If I buy him, he'll have free choice hay, but I'd just like to know how much faster my bale will disappear with him in my field. Is it safe to say he eats twice what a regular horse would eat? Or would it be closer to 3 times as much?

My Percheron (1400lbs. Or so) eats about 35 pounds of grass/timothy a day (not great quality, I'm afraid) and 10# of alfalfa cubes. Then he gets oil/oil rich feeds and some supplements.

So if he ate 60lbs a day he'd go through a round bale in two weeks. My bales weigh about 1000. A bale lasts my 4 horses 7 days, so a draft would eat approx twice as much. Thanks guys!
