Feeding and Wormer

Should your horse have an empty stomach when administering paste wormer? Is there a particular time of day that is best to give your horse wormer? I have been told that you do not feed your horse the day that you are worming.

They should not have food IN their mouth when you paste worm but yes, still please feed your horse as normal.
