feelings hurt

I have a friend (using the term loosly) who owns racehorses (TB'S) in Mexico and South America,he asked for pictures of Sonny-1/2 Percheron. He took the pics and stated GOD HE IS UGLY!!! Not everyone is a superstar or a beauty-hurt my feelings even tho I am old and should know better. Maybe I am more offended. Sonny is a draft cross and he looks it-he is tough as nails and a wonderful horse. Bahhhhh

That was crappy...lol I'd never tell someone that their horse is ugly. Now, if they asked specifically I would say something like..its not my taste, or what ever...I might tell my best friends that I don't like their horse.......but probably not. Its hard, they are like kids to some degree. You wouldn't walk up to your daycare class and tell the other mom's hey...your kid is ugly! Lol that's insensitive. Is insensitive a word...it is for today if its not. Anyways, if I can get through this ramble, You are IMO justified for your feelings and blah on him for being a poopie head. Hahaha. I would love to see a picture of sonny...I love those big guys!

Omg, don't feel hurt by this, I bet your horse is cute. Personally I think every horse is cute as they are just one animal and how would your friend like it if you said to him that all him horses are ugly and can't run very fast. I am sure he wouldn't like it. Just keep your chin up and put this behind and im sure she was just jealous about your horse been the cutest one in the universe.

I would have said told him "and you look like an (insert word of choice), thanks for coming!" and I would have walked away.

Wow you're friend is the posterboy for maturity! Don't feel bad, I checked out your horses pictures and he is super cute! I'd just write off that comment, and take the kid for face value. He's most likely not the brightest crayola in the box anyway.
