    Smile Finally a good ride!

Finally had a ride worth smiling about today. I guess all of the frustration was worth it. My parents and I all went for a ride today and all of the horses were so good. I switched out Licorice's D ring for a 5 1/2 O ring and my dad seemed to have an easier time with him. He doesn't shy at everything anymore, now he's usually leading the group. I was extremely proud of Nelly today. She seems to struggle with long walks. You can tell when she's had enough because she'll rear, but today she was fine, didn't rear once. She doesn't like the fallen trees on the ground either, she"ll shy away from them and try to run. Today I actually got her to walk up to them and touch them. I even got her to hop over one. If it weren't for the cold we would have stayed out longer, but oh well, I'm still pretty satisfied!
