Finally some good news.

So it has really been a rough couple of months for me and eventerwannabe. On November 21st Junior left to a new home a couple hours away and I had little to no hope of seeing him very much if at all because of the drive to get out to him. Well after that eventerwannabe's horse Bear was having a lot of back problems and was having lameness issues as well. Me and her were literally hitting rock bottom.

As she struggled with the fact that Bear was hurting I was desperate to find a way to ride. Situation after situation failed and then I finally found one I thought would work out. I would be riding some of my other friend's six horses. Well turns out his sister hates me and doesn't even know me. I came over and rode her horse, JD, and she was rude to me the entire time. She got mad at me for calling JD small because he is 14.2hh and I am used to riding Junior who is 16hh and Bear who is 17.2hh. The funny thing is I like small horses, Wasim the old horse I used to ride was a 14.2hh Arabian just like JD. So yeah that situation wasn't going to work out cause I don't do drama.

Finally a found a new situation which I am still going to look into this friday and meet the lady that owns the barn. She wants me to possibly exercise some horses and I might do some lessons with her. Anywho I just found out the other day that the lady that is leasing/bought Junior doesn't have the time for him and wants us to come get him as soon as possible. So Saturday the love of my life is coming back home. It won't be forever but I am going to the make the most of the time we have together. Also more great news is that the chiropractor came out and looked at Bear and did some work on him and eventerwannabe has the all clear to start riding him again!

Bad news is that Junior, who is a REALLY hard keeper, dropped some weight while he was away. Not a big deal cause we can get it back up but his muscle is pretty much gone too cause she didn't have much time to work him. So I was jumped 3' before he left and now I am starting over. But no biggie cause eventerwannabe and me are going to be starting over with Bear and Junior. So for the next three months until summer I am going to be doing lots of flat work, lunging and hills to build up his muscles. Get him on some good supplements and weight gainer and hopefully by summer we will be ready to show and have a good time.

I will be making a progress thread with pictures and updates of Junior and eventerwannabe will probably do one for Bear too so you guys can stay updated.

Anyway finally things are looking up! For a while I thought things couldn't get worse and now they are finally getting better.

Cookies to all that read that.
