We finally turned my friends 16 y/o TB gelding and my 9 y/o APHA gelding (gelded one month ago) out together again. The last time was a disaster but this time (after MONTHS of sharing a fence line) it went perfect. They are happily grazing beside each other, playing in the field, etc. No pinned ears, no bites/kicks/etc, they even call to each other if one gets til far away! I'm so so happy.
As soon as we turned them out into Pocos big pasture the TB started grazing and Poco took one look at him then laid down to sun bathe they had no worries at all. I did separate them for the night but put them out again this morning. It's just so nice for neither of them to be alone anymore. :)
