Finding a Friend in Fred

I wrote this article for a magazine, never expecting it to get published, and in the February 2011 issue it was. I was totally excited, as they don't usually do personal articles.

I thought I would share.

Finding a Friend in Fred (Saddle & Bridle Magazine)

It's about all the struggles we have gone through.
We've gone through even more now, though. lol.

Well done on claiming Fred's cooperative side. It's a shame that you have to get another show horse, but it's best for you and Fred, so really, it's the best option. Good luck with all your future horse pursuits.

Wow...a great story and very touchingly written. I am impressed! What a wonderful lesson you and Fred learned in never giving up. No matter how tough things get. This is a lesson that will take you far in life, too. You can truly apply this to everything you encounter~life is not easy, no matter where you go or what you do. I am proud of you and Fred!!

So, you are getting another horse? Are you getting rid of Fred?
