Finding photos of my OTTB?

Seeing as others have put similar threads here, I thought I would ask for help to find a picture of him in his racing career. I have tried really hard to find one. I didn't get any papers when I bought him, but I found some information on the internet

Wolfman Jack, bay gelding
Sire: Lycius (USA) 1988
Dam: Bay Love (AUS) 1993
DOB: 8/10/2000
Bred by Glenwood Farm Syndicate, NSW
Life Number: AUS00746116
Trained by Wanda Ings

I actually found his ID certificate on the internet, but no photos: http://www.studbook.org.au/horseidce...spx?hid=746116

He raced a lot and won about 3 I think, but I don't know the dates of the wins. I think he raced in Victoria, NSW and he was quite a fast race horse. One of his jockeys was Rodney Quinn, and he raced up until May 2009. It would be great if someone could find a picture of him, or give me some tips about finding one myself. I am willing to pay for one. Thanks!

The above link states that Wolfman Jack had a total of 26 starts, 3 first places, 3 second places, and 4 third places with a career earnings of over $40,000. He did pretty well for himself!

Hi peppyrox, I have a feeling that they don't keep win photos or videos too easily accessible on the internet (if they keep them at all) in Australia. I've been attempting to find the same thing and while the Australian Studbook site is fairly hopeless, there is another one (I can't for the life of me remember the name) and you can see the results of his last three races (jockey info/place/distance/location/blinkers/rollers/etc), his prize money, his wins/places and his silks. That's about as close as I've gotten with any of my horses and I've had registered Thoroughbred Breeders, Trainers and even a race caller searching for information for me. When I found that site I just googled my horse's name and "Australian race results" and it was one of the first links.
I've got a horse that won a Group Race at Caulfield and I found nothing on it - not even the jockey that rode him in it. I did find out that he was a stallion when he won it though. You could always try contacting his breeder or trainer as he wouldn't have raced too long ago. =]

I'd just be thankful that you know as much information as you do - Australian Studbook and some other branding site are adamant that one of my geldings is actually a mare called Dina's Princess, haha.

If you have any luck finding photos please let me know. I have spent many months searching for photos of my 2 thoroughbreds in their glory days and have had zero luck.

Hi, I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I have been looking for race photos of my Thoroughbred as well. He is now deceased, but was bred in Kentucky. I have also looked for video race replays, but they only go up to 2002.

What you need to do is, find out what racetrack he won at, then contact the photographer. You'll need to buy the picture..I think it's around 20 dollars. Then they'll mail you the photograph. It's actually pretty simple.

FYI you won't be able to find it easily on the internet.

I got lucky enough to find one of my boy winning a race! But when I contacted the photographer to buy a print or copy, he never emailed back!
But was so neat to see him leaving everyone in the dust!

Ok, do you think they would have photographs from as early as 1997 though?
