Yeah, we cover plenty of ground!!!
An 80km ride on a novice horse(a horse that hasn't done 3 x 80km rides) takes about 6hrs. The winners of a ride usually do 80km in 4hrs which is FAST!!!! They are on open horses(horses that have done at least 3 x 80km rides)
Oh, and I will be going to another endurance ride in 2 weeks!!

It's at a place called Maryvale. It's only a 40km training ride. We'll be taking 7 or 8 horses. All of our teams newer riders will be doing their first 40km ride!!!(you have to do 2 x 40km rides before you can do an 80km ride)
I'm going to be doing a TPR (Temp/Pulse/Respriation) coarse there. TPR's take all of the horses Temp, Pulse and Respiration when they come in off track before they see a vet.
