Forts Carson, Campbell, Hood or Benning?

Forts Carson, Campbell, Hood or Benning?

Anyone know anything about the horse communities in those areas? Or the areas in general? Seems I may end up in one of them at some point in the future, and if I am very, very lucky, I might even get to put in my opinion on which I would prefer (whether that will be considered in the final decision is, of course, another matter all together, lol).

So, lovely Horse Forum Folks, tell me what you know!

Ft. Campbell is in Kentucky, the heart of horse country, and home of the Kentucky Derby. It also has a large portion of the post in the promised land, Tennessee.

Not to far away is Land between the lakes......

Fort Hood in TX. My dad was stationed there when I was in Elementary school, we lived off base in Copperas Cove. It's been a million years so I can't say a ton about it but I do remember us kids had a blast there. We loved it. My parents still have a house there, they rent it out....
