This forum...

Just wanted to say that this forum has been so helpful and supportive. It's really nice to know I have a place to go where I can get great advice from people with such good, well rounded, non judgemental, supportive members. That can be hard to find in a forum. Very impressed =) Not only that, but this forum has proven to be very rewarding. Happy to say, that I've found my horse here!
I'm taking in Belgianlover's 2 year old Clydesdale filly! This is a dream come true to say the least. She is holding her for a couple months and I plan to pick her up on my way to California! (we're finally moving back to our home state after 4 years stationed with the military in Virginia!)
I can't wait.
So.... I would love your ideas on choosing a name for her (every-day name and showname in case I take her into the ring later)
This is all I've got so far... really drawing a blank. (REALLY into the Irish culture)
· Emerald Beat
· Thunder Roll
· Answered Prayer
· Kionna-irish for Ancient
· Dakota
· SweetTea
· Cali “California-Bound” “Cali or Bust”
· Ireland
· Cowgirl

Thanks!
(sorry for the block... can't legally post her image without permission)

Congratulations on your new filly and your move back home. It's nice to hear a compliment about our forum. We are very glad you are getting so much from being a member.

BTW, thank you and your spouse for your service to our country.

OH! ... and I like "Irish" for her name since you are leaning in that direction.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Many of your names remind me of Garth Brooks ;) Thunder Rolls, (Un)Answered Prayer, Ireland.. maybe that's just me ha ha.
I really like your Irish theme! Emerald Beat is cute, as is Thunder Roll, as she's going to be a big girl by the looks of things and will certainly sound "thunderous" as she's running towards you :) Irish, as iridehorses posted, is really cute too.

Irish! LOVE it. Simple, sounds feminie. Putting that at the top of the list. And, thank you for your comment on service. It really does help build our morale and make the days easier to when we hear these things =) =)

I completely for got he had songs about answered prayers and Ireland. That's funny =D Thunder Rolls... yup, definitely an intended reference to Garth Brooks. Don't relate to the song, thank God, but it's a good one! Lol

Ooh I like thunder rolls - but I do like Irish as well :)

I salute yourself and your husband for what you've done for all of us! I am a major WW2 fanatic and to know what those men did for us, humbles me - and the same to you and your Husband.

Congrats on your new baby - she is STUNNING and welcome back!! We are so happy to have you with us!

I think Irish is super cute, but I also liked "Cali" with the show name "Cali or Bust." Thought that was pretty cute.

Ha ha.
