Free lease?

I'm looking to possibly free lease a horse (something I can gain confidence with) or something free to a good home. However, I'm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I know this is a long shot but figured it was worth a try. If someone knows of anyone that would do a free lease or has what I'm looking for please email me for more details. yooperbug@cablemi.com

I was thinking 4-20 years old. 14.2h-15.2h big boned and stocky.

I forgot to add that it's okay if the horse is taller than 15.2h if he/she is patient with me using the mounting block to get on, LOL. I'm a bigger but I did have gastric bypass surgery. 110lbs lost so far. Another 40lbs I'll be happy

Crap, I should add more, sorry. I'd also like to find something that enjoys being groomed and fussed over. I just ride trails in a western saddle. I just like to putz along at a walk and trot. Sorry for a bunch of posts. If I was smart I'd have just put this in my first post, duh.

Purebred Arabian Mare for free lease to 4H

I actually in a round about way heard about this horse at work then saw the ad on craigslist. I don't know how you'd get her up to Michigan but she sounds like a good old horse to fuss over.

I'm heavier and 5'10" but it don't hurt to look into getting pictures.

Congrats on your weight loss, that is one heck of a lot to lose and if 40lbs is now your goal, then you are in the home straight.

I have nothing horsey to add as I am not in your area.

It sure stinks to be so far away from everyone.

I'm finding all sorts of suitable horses but they are all just so far away. It's rather depressing.
