No one rides BOs horses unless they're personally known, trusted, and we know exactly how experienced/knowledgable they are. I'm riding ST because BO has seen me ride before and she saw me get ST into her first ever canter when I tried her out at fair.
Lucky probably won't leave the arena with someone else on her. She's too unpredictable out and about, and those that would be riding her would launch themselves off if she gave a little buck.
ST will soon have as many riders as I can on her (as soon as I buy her, lol). My plans for her are a 4H horse that I can show, use as a lesson horse, and anyone can trail ride (group or solo).
Buy currently..NO ONE rides ST. BO doesn't know the leg and seat cues I've been putting on her (a little different than our normal trained horse around here, but it's working better for ST), so not even she rides her. I love it, personally, lol. Posted via Mobile Device
I wouldn't have let any of my friends ride Indie, ever. Even if all of her training was done, likely not simply because none of them have ever ridden a horse.
However, if it was a lease horse and my instructor was fine with it, they could as long as they were wearing a helmet and had proper footwear on. My mom always makes people change their footwear if they come with us anyways though.
If someone wants to ride my horse, they will do it on my terms. So yes, correct footwear and a helmet and all that.
I don't let anyone ride my horse though. I don't have riding friends, my acquaintances all wouldn't be a good match for my horse and I don't have a regular trainer. I wouldn't want someone riding my horse anyway. Posted via Mobile Device
