Funniest fall

I was talking with another member about having a laugh about having fell off . What's your funniest or best fall .

As for me

I was sitting on my stallion facing the wrong way ( yes ! looking at his rear ) , My horse had - No saddle , bridle , rope , headcoller - actually he was wearing nothing at all and I accidently touched his hind quaters with my foot . I caught him by suprise and he bucked twice and I landed on my face in the sand.

After I had dragged my carcass off the floor I got straight back on him ( aren't we supposed to learn from our mistakes )

Nutty by name and I suppose nutty by nature !

I was galloping on an older 20-some mare with a ten year old girl (very experienced and rather fearless). She was in the saddle...I was sitting BEHIND the saddle, holding onto the back. The horse jumped the ditch, and all of a sudden, I found myself sitting in the grass!

I guess I tried a 'Titanic' move and literally went flying XDDD

hahah i was ridding a liitle appy bareback over a ground pole and he decided it was a 6foot jump! and i went FLYING!!!

I was ponying a horse off my horse bareback in halters and going out to the pasture. I trotted my horse up the hill, the other horse stopped, and I was pulled off between the two. xD

I was riding my gelding liberty maybe 6 years ago, we were just trotting, I wasnt paying a bit of attention to him, all of a sudden he spooked, he just jumped to the side, something he's done a million times, and I found myself sitting crosslegged in the sand and everyone was laughing at me

hehe.. I was riding Horhay in the advanced ring, I lost my stirrup and he's really bouncy so I lost my balance. Horhay is a jerk and jumped to that side so of course, I went flying. xD

i was attempting to vault on my horse (not one of my smartest ideas) and once i stood up, my horse took a tiny little step to the right, and i went SPLAT on the ground! everyone was laughing including me! (probably wont be trying that again)

My best would be after me and my horse went swimming in the dam. We were obviously bareback, and soaked wet. When we finished the swim we went back to the arena to 'cool down'. There was a metal pole in the middle of the arena.. You know how if you kick stones against metal it makes a noise?? Well supposedly that's scary.. :P
My horse spun around in a half circle and I expected when he got round 180 degrees of the circle he would bolt off. But no, he decided he'd do a full circle, then when he realized the pole was still there... We spun around super fast about 6-10 times until I slipped off.

Was so amusing for me and everyone around! Haha.

ha ha ha, that last one made me laugh out loud

My first time jumping 3 foot the mare I was riding decided to almost duck out to the right, then at the very last second she jumped clear over the actual standard. I managed to hang on until her front hooves hit the ground, then i proceeded to topple over the side of her neck and and end up doing a somersault before hitting the ground. Instead of jumping 3ft like i originally intend, I ended up jumping an extra 2 feet.
