I thought I'd start an interesting thread.
So this weekend I went out to ride my horse. And we had a good ride. I walked and jogged Lucky around and around. Then I got a cramp in my right foot, so I decided to get off and stand on it for a few minutes.
My dad wanted to get on so I got off and led Lucky over to the mounting block, and adjusted the stirrups for him.
My dad has ridden Lucky a few times and always does well on him, so I thought he had the mounting thing down.
Well he starts showing off and waving his hand in the air, like he was fixing to jump off the worlds tallest diving board into a small pool.
So he puts his foot in the stirrup and somehow he manages to miss the seat and fall on the other side.
After that he did get on the horse and have good ride.
There is a joke we used to use at my old barn everytime a new rider had there first fall, called: The Hit The Dirt Club. But I think that's a joke that people use in the horse world.
Its been a few days and I'm still laughing about it.
Have any of you, or know some one who had a funny fall
