Funny feed store trip story!!

Went to our backup feed store because we were in the area and it and wanted to see if they had a bridle. We were talking to the guy and I kept hearing this kitten crying. The guy then told me that someone had dumped a kitten off in a box on their doorstep that morning and it was free to a good home. I took one look at it, picked it up out of the box it was in and never put it down again. She is now sitting on my shoulder while I sit on the couch.

We took her to our vet who told us she is about 3 weeks old. She is tiny but with a loud purr I take as a sigh that she is strong. She looks like a Siamese with gray strips on her legs like a Tabby. She is such a cutie!

Yes, the feed store gave us the can they were using and then we picked up another can at Petsmart plus a bottle since she wasn't getting enough of the milk from the dropper.

Thanks. To be honest I am NOT a cat person but when I saw this little girl, my heart melted and I just had to pick her up. That's when I knew I had to have her. The feed store gave us a can of food and a flea collar for when she gets older. She is curled up on my chest right now sleeping.

I know the feeling! That's how I got my current barn kitty....he was practically starved and sitting on the step of my friend's house. So we picked him up and made him a mouser, which he loves.

I'm so happy you took that adorable little kitten in but man that makes me mad when people dump animals, especially at only 3 weeks!
