Gap Year!!!!!!!!!!

I really want to do a gap year when I leave school. I was thinking maybe the US or UK but its not a must! However the main language will have to be english as I have no knowledge of any other language.

I found this place
Im interested in the South African one, especially the rehabilitation santuary and the ride 'n' teach challenge.

Most of the sites I have looked at are for volunteer work, where you pay before you go, then do volunteer work while your there. I would rather work while im there and not be a volunteer, but if this is not possible I will settle for being a volunteer lol.

I don't know much about all this! Does anyone know of any good programs or websites?

Thanks in advance!
