Sorrelhorse I disagree. My stallions are used to check fences, herd cattle, and for pleasure.
Star is a perfect gentleman to all mares and people. My foster grandchildren , ages 3 and 5, ride him with no saddle and crawl between his legs. He has never entered a showring and sires very nice foals.
I don't breed arabians for the show ring I breed them to be athletic, have good conformation, and to have stamina.
Most horses will never enter an arena so a show record means nothing to the majority of horse owners.
I enjoy riding the stallions more than the mares and far more than most geldings. In ten years that may change as I age but for now I like the extra spark stallions have. It keeps me focused. Shalom
