That's wonderful! A new horse is always an exciting event.
One thing - double check your new horse thoroughly before taking delivery. Hopefully the problem with the delay really was the transport and not the horse. I would really check her over and actually ride her again. (I just reread your post and may have misunderstood. Did you arrange the transport or the seller?)
