For my Senior project I've decided to train a horse for dressage, with the help of my mentor/instructor which I'll be meeting with at least three times and for at least five hours. LOL. I'm going to have WAY more then that though, its just the required time.
This is the first mare that I'll be going to look at (there is also another one on the property that I'll be looking at) Saturday and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get her. Her owner loves me and hopes that I get her and we haven't even met yet. LOL. She is a green broke solid black Morgan/Arabian that is six years old and registered half Morgan. I'll be trying to get her papers but can't promise anything because she was previously rescued and I'll still have to be fattening her up when I bring her home, but by the sounds she'll only need a few hundred more pounds.
I'm so excited! I've always wanted a solid black mare (be it I wanted a QH but Morab will do LOL)!
BTW I'm not going to be buying her just for looks, I'm going to be buying her because of her temperament, on whether or not she has nice gaits for dressage, and ect. AND I know her feet will have to be done when I get her because if you look her toe is quite long, which could be from where she was rescued.
