Do all 4 year old boys only have the attention span of about a minute? Looking forward to the weekend and having a couple of days free from the little bugger. Maybe I'll actually get a ride in. Bill, (may I call you Bill?) I'll come along with ya! Equine company would do Stella a lot of good.

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Howdy everyone... in case you have been wondering (I'm sure you didn't notice but that's okay) I've been on VAC! LOL. I haven't been on here (until today) in prob over a week.

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. I'm doing good & enjoying time off from work. I still got college classes & next week I got my normal college classes & my EMS/Fire Conference. (Yipee  )

Anyway I have been able to fit in a ride every other day since I've been off! WE finally got our soaking boots in so we can begin working on making "Legends" hoove's better & crack free~~ Yipee... I'll get pictures! (This has stemmed from the natural hoof trimmer. ~ Long story/next time I'll tell.) Legend & I have been bonding well & growing well together in the ring & in the field. We are working on her seperation issues from her buddies!!! ANYWAY enough of my jabbin. Hope all is well with you all & prob. Won't be back on until next friday. I'm dying with out no net!!! I feel so behind!!

Cheers to a good fun weekend for everyone.

Me~ not so much "Hanna is due to hit the east coast here tonight & tomorrow.. Eventhough we need the rain not that much! I'm worried b/c we live right on the coast of DE. We'll see how we fair out!

As a mom of a 4yo boy......YES! They can't concentrate when you really want them to. I find that a package of army guys from walmart or the dollar store help A LOT! My son will actually sit down and play long enough for me to change a load of laundry or sweep the kitchen!

Thanks for the tip, Dumas! He was a little disappointed about our playroom pretty much only having dolls so yesterday he brought a dump truck from home. *mental note, buy army guys this weekend*

My kids are 33,32, and 27 - it doesn't get easier!!!

Of course you can call me Bill (but my name is Fred - only kidding).

I'm loading up on Sunday morning - I'll have coffee ready, see you then!

Having three girls I'm not looking forward to the teenage years. (No offense to any of our teen members!) A short attention span is probably much easier to deal with.

    See you Sunday!

    Hey Countrygirl,
Welcome back. Hope you had a great vacation.

    Macalicious,
Becareful. Your body is telling you to rest so you might want to listen. (I preach well on this but fail at practicing)

    3 neighs,
What do you mean only 4 yr old boys. I have teenagers and their attention span is the same as when they was 4. (just kidding, NOT) and they don't want GI Joes, now it's dirt bikes, quads, cars, and wait, the line of girls

    Iride,
Boy I wish I lived closer, I would so be on that trail ride. Have a great time and make sure you brag about it to us.

    Dumas'grrl,
Paintedlady is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo talented. Maybe she will post some of her work here.

I would LOVE to see some of her work. I LOVE art...I see more than just an apple painted on some canvas. My hubby could care less, maybe I romanticise it or read more into it than what is really there. I only piddle at it for fun. It's how I relax when I'm all balled up with stress and there is nothing I can do but doodle. :P Its funny because I only work when I am either really stressed or completely at peace. My hubby urges me to do it on a grander scale or to at least sell some of my stuff. I don't want to turn it into a job. Drawing or Painting is like my zanex...I would feel that if I'm selling it I'd be selling a part of my peace of mind. Make sense? Its always been private to me...something to share with my friends and family. Guess I must like ya'all or I'm opening up some...lol. I'm just glad no one said "that's crap" hehehe...I would have been crushed!

OK...enough Brunch time confession from me!!!!!

    That cracked me up!

I like to draw and paint, too. I'm not brave enough to post any of it though. I've done paintings and clay sculptures. Mainly animals. I used to sell my work, but when number three daughter came along, I couldn't seem to find the time. Now, with all of them being in school full time I'm going to try to get back into it. I understand where you're coming from, Dumas, with regards to selling your stuff, but I like the thought of my work being on someone's wall or shelf.
