good news :D

Well there's a Belgian/TB cross at the barn and her owner NEVER comes to see her (okay well she does, but it's mainly only to check to see if she's still alive). They NEVER ride her nor do they keep her up-to-date with worming, farrier, or vet stuff.
She is practically shy of EVERY person because she hasn't had someone to take care of her for the longest time.

Well the good news is.....a friend of mine contacted the owner and got the owners permission to lease the horse, Annabell (Sonny's girlfriend, btw) for the summer. Since that Wednesday call Annabell will now let me touch her all from the little work that my friend has given her.

I'm sure as you can tell Annie still needs ALOT of work mainly with muscle building and probably alot more things but at least she has someone to take care of her and treat her as she should be treated. She's the nicest horse in the world, but because of a lazy owner she has become the skinny, shy horse she is today. But she is getting better...so much better,
She even lowered her head for me to pet her...and she lowered her head for my mom to comb her mane

Aww that's so good!! I'm sure she'll improve with the help of work & attention she'll be getting. That's wonderful. :)

Yeah! I'm sooo happy because hopefully Annie's owner will realize that she just can't let Annie sit in a field until she sells...and maybe my friend will even buy her (we've been trying to talk her into it)

She's a great looking horse. Nice big feet and good bones in her legs. She should be very surefooted for trails. She looks really happy to be getting some attention. Since she and Sonny are bf and gf they should enjoy riding out together. Hope your friend can buy her.

We are planning since neither Annie or Sonny have been on the trails to walk them through it on foot together and once we've done that we'll ride...we'll have some great times...I'm sure Sonny will enjoy it and so will Annie!

For the lesson we kept her up in the stall and Sonny and her were calling back and forth to each other the WHOLE time....literally the whole time. It was cute, but VERY annoying hehe
