A good story for a change!

Ok, we all like to rant, but I acutally have a good story to pass along.

My equine dentist came out last night to check one of my horses. Mind you, she drove almost an hour to get to me and then had another hour to get home. When she came and checked Presley, she said everything was fine. I had told her all of his symptoms, droppping a lot of food, playing with the bit, etc. She put her hand in his mouth, (no easy task at 17.1 hands) and felt around. When done she said I could lie to you and say his teeth needs to be floated, but there is nothing wrong. He is the process of losing some of his baby teeth and he might be a little sensitive. And that is why he plays with the bit.

So she and I talked for about an hour in my yard about everything that we could. I offered several times to at least pay some kind of fee for her time and gas. She WOULDN"T hear of it. At the end she said I will see you in October to do Daytona's teeth.

I must say in today's word, this is a rare find. I am so glad meet this equine dentist. :)
