I like the name Zephyr for some reason. He has a super nice red colour.

Snip
Bane
Casey

Or, at 17.2, how about "Shorty" ;)

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

I ended up naming him teddy:) he looks and acts just like a sorrel teddy bear. He has been the best and most pleasant horse I've ever owned. His calm and caring demeanor has really been great and he has went from a roping horse to a slower moving and wonderfully improved NVRHA horse. We went from lots of errors to correct From bad roping habits to an overall very good versatility horse, and at his age of 16!!! In just one year we have gone from not being ridden in two year with bad habits, to being one of the top riders on our team in most of our events and are well on the way to earning our first buckle. Regardless, he is the best horse I have ever had and he has came so very far with me and tries his best and we have got many compliments from judges and viewers since I first brought teddy home, to now, in how tremendously I have turned him around and how he has even helped me be a better rider in that also. So happy.
