got our fixer upper

We went and got our trailer on tuesday night,

I think charlie had more fun checking it out

Ok now i'm just fooling around with my camera

Remember the trailer has been in a reck, that's why we got it for a really good price, my husband is really good at fixxing thing's up when he get's around to it......my father (being the horseman that he is) wanted to know if abby would load in to it and wanted pic's.....long story but my brother in law almost killed abby loading her once.

Didn't realize how tall the trailer was ....or abby shrunk...

It has no roof? Or is that something that is going to be fixed? That could be dangerous

I see trailers with no roof or half roofs like that all the time. May be a Kansas thing. It gets so hot here I find it difficult to keep mine (enclosed) cool enough for the horses.
Is it a half roof or is that the part that was wrecked KT? Reskining it should be a fairly easy fix for a handy fellow.

I see this type all the time. Also the ones that have a canvas or vinyl top that can be removed.
I think the top has been taken off of KT's though.

new trailer

Good buy id say abby I just picked up a two horse the last month or so . And im real happy with it. It also is a fixer up and I had to use it the day after I brought it home when my mare got choked and I couldnt get it cleared myself so had to haul her to vet. Worked real good for the mare and her baby. And it sure did pay for it self that day as my vet couldnt get here quick but we got to her quick saved the mare and baby still has her momma. I had a topless trailer for severl years and never had a problem hauling all over the country with it . Was great in hot weather to wish I still had it . And to answer the flicka question about her mom dieing in a topless trailer aint so it was in a cattle / horse truck with high racks on it but a loose horse in a topless rig of anykind is just a loaded gun waiting for it to go off get my point I tie all my horses even in a fully inclosed rig no issue then
