Grass

We have a new pasture , it was trees ayear and a half ago..and the grass isnt lookin to come up to good
So we were planning on discing it up and planting grass...
What are your opinions on which grass to plant..we live in Arkansas
And I have never ahad to plant grass before so I am not sure where to look or what kind to look for

I live in arkansas too... I'll ask what kind of grass we have here when my hubby gets home...lol I try to remember everything, some things just fall out my ears!
