Great First Lesson with New Trainer!

I had a great first lesson yesterday! I learned things that old trainer never taught me! The trainer was so nice! She took everything so slow cause I was so nervous! She put me on the lunge line so I could work on getting used the horse and getting my body stable. Its amazing the difference that looking forward and holding your hands straight will do for your balance! She also taught me how to strength my upper thigh by using it to push yourself up not your calves! I have definite work to do there I'm so sore today from it! Now to brag on the horse that put up with me! His name is Fly Boy! He's is an amazing older horse TB (I think not 100% sure on that) lol He's 16.1 so a whole 4 inches taller than my little 15hh Morgan! Defiantly a different ride that's for sure! I can't wait to go back next week!

That's a great update! Sounds like you found a good new situation for lessons.
