grrrrrr.........bugs. i tried riding the other day and I couldnt get much accomplished. After spraying what seems like a full bottle of spray April was still being eaten alive... After riding I cool her down and then let her roll, and then rinse her off and hand graze her in the yard (her turnout pen is pretty bare) she wanted nothing with eating grass and wanted the barn.
Im not used to them being soo thick and ready to suck blood. The horse flys are huge too this year... sorry for my rant, i am just annoyed and I feel bad for my girl. Even with a fly sheet and mask on they get her legs, belly, and neck.
It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.
