    A great thing happened!

Well probably not that exciting for other people... but amazingly exciting for me!

So I've been looking for a stock saddle for, well close to a year now. Finally I found that the smaller size Wintec stock would fit us both and was pretty much the ideal saddle... but its $1500 new which I don't even nearly have. So I've been looking for a secondhand one but they are surprisingly uncommon, and are snatched up quickly, and are still not cheap.

So I put a wanted ad up on Gumtree pretty much saying medium wintec stock, working condition up to $500 hoping that someone would have an old one in their shed somewhere. And then I was contacted and this woman had won the exact saddle I wanted at a local store competition, used it a couple of times but didn't really want it, as she is a dressage rider, and offered it to me for $500. I went to get it yesterday and it is pretty much a brand new saddle! Not a mark, no wear or bends even on the girth straps! It smells new!

So yeah, I have like a brand new saddle, exactly what I wanted for 1/3 of the price. And I am so happy.
