Greenhawk

This is just a little vent,

I wish they had a darn Greenhawk in my flippin' town! They have one in Nelson which is a WAY smaller town and I bet if they got one where I lived they would get so much buissness ...
We have 1 tack store here, it's called Diamond H Tack, they're okay but they're soooo expensive!
Plus I don't really like buying online because if I buy a saddle (per say) from Diamond H then they would come out and fit the saddle to make sure .. But if I bought online then even if I measured the saddle it MIGHT not fit exactly or look how I want it ..
SHEEEEESH!

Whats your favorite tack store?

Locally, we have a local tack store (Henson's H-bar), a Tractor Supply company, a couple of Amish leather shops (I know one is still here, not so sure about the second one), Bob Marshal sadderly is in my hometown. And, there is a Stateline western store about 90 minites away. And two of the local feedstores have some tack.

I am like you, I never want to buy major peice of gear online. I want to feel it and look at it, before I buy it.

My favorite tack store is Henson's H-bar, their prices on allot of items are lower than TSC, And the workers know more about there products than the people at TSC.

I've got some blankets from Greenhawk but I just find the quality isn't there (but the blankets are the only thing I've tried)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my local tack shop (about 10 mins from my farm) they are wonderful small town people who always seem happy when I come in (which I'm sure they are, I spend more money there than at the gorcery store...lol) The will order me anything and I mean ANYTHING I want, doesn't matter if they don't normally have that brand they get it for me. I got winter covers for the monsters recently and she let me take home the blankets and try them out to be sure that they fit without even paying for them.

However I really like Welsh's Saddlery for my leather tack (saddles, bridles, etc) they still handmake all there saddles in their own and are just excellent quality stuff (the only crappy thing is they don't make a reining saddle...:() They are over 3 hours away, which I guess is a good thing because I spend alot less money that way.

I have a greenhawk about an hour never been there there is 2 in town one is a general store they have everthing and country west is where I get all my feed and there is really good prices and the paddock is 20 min away exoensive but has lots of sales

Greenhawk is taking over my area right now lol. There are 3 within an hour of my house. Honestly, their stuff is really poor quality, or it is WAY over priced. And they say how they have these sales all the time, when really they just jack up the original prices and then set a "sale" price. I don't find their stuff very exciting, but if you need and medical related stuff it is pretty cheap.
