Guess who has a new horse? THIS GIRL! RIGHT HERE! :D

He's finally home! Introducing my new boy, TROUBADOUR! <3

The owners beat me out to the boarding barn, so he was already in a stall when I got there. I went in there and he's a lovable little boy in is settling in well. :) he did everything I asked, picked up feet, turned on the hind and front, and backed up great!

And he FOR SURE is not lacking in weight o_O I couldn't feel his ribs, I think he's like a 3 1/2 maybe 4.. Probably a 4. Lol, and he's only on grass and costal hay with whole oats sometimes. Hopefully with work he'll lose weight.

He was a bit of an ass in the round pen, I had to put the fear of God into him to make him lope! He was trying to look out at the other horses, so ran into the wall when he kicked into a lope lol. But by the end of the session, he would move out when I pointed and sometimes took a kiss or two lol and he locked his ear on me. The only thing is, he turns into to fence and I couldn't get him to turn towards me.

Anyway, he didn't spook at anything even with all the wind blowing stuff around. He was kinda "looky" but pretty dang good for his first day :)

    Aaanyway! He's doing well

    Pictures, REFUSE to upload :(

Congrats! Looking forward to some pictures! I definitely can relate to the round pen incident, my lease horse fit that description to a tee when I first started working with him.. frustrating, but you'll be so thrilled with even the slightest progress.
