Default Gypsy the WONDERFUL lesson horse!

HAHA, ok so the old owners that I bought Gypsy from came to the barn we are kinda friends but not really cause we never get to see them. So Jessie the little girl use to take lessons here at the barn shes got to be like 10-11. And I was just starting to groom Gypsy so I let Jessie finish.
I was talking to her mom how Gypsy has changed her attitude, and the spooking and everything. Which by the way she said Gypsy had a major spooking problem and spooked at EVERYTHING but yet when I bought her I was told and am still told Gypsy is not a spooky horse. ANY WAYS!

I asked Angie (mom) if she wouldnt mind Jessie riding Gypsy. She was like are you sure? Still thinking Gypsy is the same horse. Also mind you im thinking sale here...

Anyway jessie gets on. Gypsy is awsome! Jessie at first had troubles finding out how much pressure to apply to make her go... Then Jessie wanted to trot. So I stuck her on the lunge line and gave her a little lesson. She picked up her posting trot so well, she hadnt had lessons in a long time. But after a while she got it!

THEN, now this makes me mad cause here I am "oh no Gypsy dosent spook like that anymore"..She hasnt in a really long time. Ive changed feed, gone on trails more so she dosent get bored in the arena, bla bla.
The fence post board falls! It was broken before and so there was a small end that they just tacked up there. Well Gypsy spooked Jessie goes flying off her neck does a flip and lands on her butt. She didnt let go of the reins. I mean it looked like one of the eventing gone wrong clips on youtube.

I was sooooo embarised and mad becuase that shouldnt have happend and it should have been fixed properly! It was a pritty big drop. Angie understood and wasnt mad or conserned or anything and here I am like "OH MY GOD SHE SPOOKED" In my head...

Jessie got right back on and we continued the lesson. And Gypsy was great, she trotted and was really really good. Her neck was relaxed the hole time! She kept a good steady pace not like a RARARAR kinda trot. But every time Jessie got off balance Gypsy would stop. I think she was just concerned with her falling off again.

Im actually quite proud! I told Angie that I would give Jessie free lessons. So they are going to think it over. Even after I let Jessie ride Gypsy off the lunge line and she still did really good. I think that in prior to a lesson I'll free lunge her. lol just to be safe and get all her energy out.

But didnt Gypsy do good! A real trooper. I feel bad cause Jessie really loved being out there but they cant afford 45-50 for a private lesson.
Poor Jessie is working out at a farm where they breed mini's. Its good but she cant ride them....
