    Had my first lesson today

.....and I did way better than I expected. Both of the horses I rode were so smooth and made it super easy for me. I did some stirrup-less lunge line exercises and learned how to properly neck rein a horse ( I had no clue because I've always rode English and am starting to learn Western now) I feel like I will progress very quickly and am much looking forward to next weeks lesson

Thanks =) it was a real confidence lifter because I have been riding my friends horse that is extremely choppy, refuses to listen to me, only wants to run run run, and is extremely barn sour so my rides these past 4 months have been down in the dumps, but now I realize it wasn't me be horrible at riding the horse just wasn't right for my level of riding.
