 Had to put down two horses today...
So sad, we had the vet come out and he had to put two of
our horses down. One mare had cancer the vet predicted and
she was in bad shape, she got pot bellied but her backbone never
filled out. Another was a 20+ year old gelding and he had to be
put down also, don't know the exact reason, one day he was just down.
They were both injected by the vet and put down peacefully
to end their suffering. Still sad though, my husband and I got
attached to that old gelding. :( | 
That's always a tough thing to go through. ... I'll pray for you.
