    Question Halter Help..

My horse needs a new halter. The one he has on now is falling apart. Its been on him for a whole year. When I got him at the end of 2008...him and the horses were playn halter games. I would find his halter on the ground several times. So this did not help the halter stay in good shape.

Today I noticed that his halter was starting to fray on the noseband. So I have extra halters for the time being..but I want to get him a new one.

So if you could please help me out by picking out a halter for him.
Here are my choices.... there all going to be green.

    1. http://www.statelinetack.com/item/procraft-premium-adjustable-nylon-halter/SLT771074/

    5. Green / Tan Plaid Overlay Safety Halter - Halters & Leads - Rara Equus

    6. Black Nylon Overlay Halter - Halters & Leads - Rara Equus

    7. Flex Rider Padded Breakaway Halter - Dover Saddlery. out of stock until 4/27

*number 3 does not want to be a link. So you will have to copy and paste it instead of clicking on it.

Here is a picture of my horse so you can figure out which halter would look good on him.

Let me know soon because I want to place an order this week.

If I don't find a halter from these sites, then I might end up getting the same kind of halter he has on now. Or I might ask my trainer for a halter because she sells them in her store.

    Thanks.

Are you leaving the halter on the horse all the time? I have never worn out a halter from normal use but I see horses that have them left on all the time getting them pretty ragged. I think leaving a halter on a horse is one of the most neglectful things that an owner can do. I like rope halters much better than web halters.

Thank you all for your help.

I like #4 too...but I don't know if I want to spend $40.00 on a halter. Red haute horse is expensive for a halter.

Im thinking #1 or #6. For the time being im going to dig out one of the spare halters that we have at home.

    Thanks again. :)

I like either 1 or 7. The brown halter of number 7 will really stand out on him, and so will 1.
