Happy,happy happy!

As many of you know, I hava a disease that makes me extremely tired and uncoordinated. For the last 8 months I have ridden only a handful of times, and then only at a walk. Well, I FELT GOOD today! I rode Nibbles and actually WORKED her! Cantered, did circles and only stopped because I didn't want her to get sore. I could almost hear her thinking "who is this person, and where is the nice lady who doesn't make me do anything?". LOL. Hopefully she'll get several more workouts before I crash again. It felt SO good to actually ride instead of just being a passenger! Just had to share. Thanks!

Yay! I'm glad that you are feeling so much better!

She keeps hanging on, to the dream she's always known, for the glory, d*mn the pain, holds it all within them reins! She is country tough and there's no giving up, from her boots down to her precious latigo. Her heart is a rodeo!

I hope you have many more days of feeling good. Not just for riding but for everyday life too.

Thanks everybody - Nibbles is an angel and has done so much to make me feel better. Riding has helped me through the hard times - I just get so frustrated when I don't even have the strength to groom her, but days like this make me feel SO good!

I'm happy for you! I can empathise a little because I am going through building burnout again and because of our house build my horse has only been lightly and erratically worked these past two years. Energy has been an issue. But I had a really nice time trotting him around some bush tracks on our farm a few days ago. Nearly did it again today but then a storm came... If only we could get extra time and energy when we need it, hey?

Everyone in your life is meant to
be in your journey, but not all of
them are meant to stay till the end.
