Happy Happy Joy Joy!

I just thought I'd share...

A while ago I posted about how Dumas isn't "in" to us. His personality is standoffish...

Today a bird flew into our big living room windows and died :( My 4 yo son was standing by the window when it happened so we had to go outside, get the bird and "lay it to rest"..... Anyways, when we went outside Dumas saw us and actually nickered at me!!!! 8)

I got a big ol smile and said hi but did not go to the fence. I walked out front and closed the gate to allow them to run in the yard. When I came around the house he actually did it again but louder and longer... HE WANTED ME!!!!

I'm so happy!!!!!!!! Finally! :P A ray of hope that this last 6 months wasn't a waste of time, that he actually wants to be around us!
