Happy Thursday world

Thursday .... one day closer to the weekend and the potential of Hanna bringing our precious rain. We're 2' down from from last year and 1' so far this year.

Nothing I can do about it so where's my coffee???? The animals are fed, the horses are groomed and Bobo is off "vacation". I really need some real bagels but that involves a trip to NY (and my mother-in-law) so that idea is out. Anyone in NY want to make a bagle run for me???

It's great to have a short week once in a while. Happy Thursday world!

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Yay...Thursday! My outside chores are done...now on to dishes and laundry and such. *a real bagel...MmmMmMm*

I'm rather excited today...I entered a pencil sketch that I did, in the county fair. The judging was yesterday and we are going to go tonight to see how I did and watch the barrel racing. I have never entered anything I've drawn into a "competition" before. I did it for grins and giggles but now I'm somewhat anxious to see the results.

Iride...I would sure love to send you some of the rain we have had here. According to my rain gauge we ended up with 6 1/8" over the last day and a half. Thank you Gustav!

OK..'nuff about me! Happy Thursday Everyone!

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

GOOD MORNING! 8)

Well today is going to be a very active day for me. I'm going for a nice trail ride after I drop my daughter off to school. The morning temps are in the 70's and sooooo nice.

Iride,
I can only offer Vegas Bagels and extra dark Columbian coffee. But I do have some Philly cream cheese for those bagels. (yum, yum)

Dumas' grrl,
Good luck tonight. Hope there is lots of blue ribbons on your sketches.

Dashie,
Glad to hear your better.

Painted,
NICE FENCE. Now I know who to call when I need a good fencer!

Have a great day everyone.

Dumas g= send us pics of your picture-how exciting=bet you win a ribbon!!!!!
I ate mcd's yuck but the iced coffee is good-it is pouring here-chicago is getting the tail/nose end??? Of gustaf. At least it isnt a 100 degrees and pouring

I had to contact the anti cruelty society of chicago this morning-makes for a bad day all the way around. Pit bull breeder who used to be my nasty rotten neighbor is at it again-my county will do nothing. I may have to go steal puppies in the middle of the night if ACS doesnt help.

Hope you all have a very nice day today

Thanks for the compliments on the fence, Gaited. After it was all said and done, hubby *did* say it was more work than he'd anticipated. I'm thinking....yah...and that only took 30 years! LOL!
Dumas...this is a first, aye? Best of luck to ya! And yup...we'd love to see a picture....with the ribbon attached! (I paint for a living...)
Any time I've entered anything, my feelings would be 'on my fingertips'...LOL!
I'm here for the coffee, too! LOL!

We had ruben sandwiches for lunch. Hubby picked up the makins on his way home from work this morning. They were yummy :P
Not to make anyone jealous but the weatherman said we are up 12" over normal for the year on rain
