Hard times

As a few of you might have noticed im selling my horses. And reason being I can no long afford to take care of them, food or anything. My mom was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer a month ago and the medical bills are hitting us hard. I felt like I should explain, worried people would think I have turned into those people who get horses with no means of affording them. So if you know anyone looking for some horses send them my way

Where are you located, and what do you have? I know some people who are looking for horses, actually.

.Delete., I am very sorry. I wish you and your mother all the best, and that you're able to return to horse ownership sooner rather than later. You have a lot of talent, young lady, I hope you're able to keep riding through this hardship. My horses have gotten me through more emotional hardships than I care to count. Chin up, push through, and be strong.

I'm so sorry about your mom,I'm praying for her. =( I know someone who had breast cancer and it came back THREE times and fought through it all.I'm sure she'll do the same.

And I'm so sorry about your horses too.Why not lease them out so you can make some money to go toward your mom's bills? That way they help pay for expenses and you don't need to lose them.

Leasing out is a good idea, like ryssa said, if you could get the leasee to pay for all the horse's expences. Off-site lease. That way when you get back to owning horses, you'll have them, and you can make some cash to put towards your mom's cancer treatment.

So sorry this happened, I really hope she gets better soon.

The parents asked me to sell them, they don't want to deal with a lease
