3 days later we took Hattie XC schooling and she was so good! Sadly my back was playing up so my friends rode her most of the time, but I was delighted with her.

Anyway Photos!
I took Hattie over a couple to get her going

And then my friend Tiff took over

My more experienced friend took Hattie over the ditches and a few bigger jumps.

I love this one, Tiff (my friend) who is riding her has never done xc schooling before and has only been riding two years. Hattie hasn't really done drops before ...

But half an hour before this happened!
Stumbling...

Falling...

Hitting ground...

Hattie trying not to step on new obstacle.

It was great fun. I was very glad we arrived at the wedding safely and a bit dismayed that the passing cars and lorries were not more smiles for such a happy event. But even with noisy tractors, big dresses and lots of people the horses behaved perfectly. (except Hattie was not going to step on the red carpet outside the hotel)

That wedding table looks wonderful - and the weather was kind to you as well
The stumble was a bit of an oops moment but these things happen to us all - me more than most I sometimes think!!

What a cool wedding! I'm sure the bride will cherish those great photos. Was her partner also on horseback?

Just as we were leaving (walking down the drive) a few drops of rain fell but that was it , so we were really lucky with the weather. Since then it has been lovely and sunny, but at least it was dry and mild and not windy on the day.

Tiff has fallen off a few times, the little grey pony she is riding to the wedding is notorious for getting her off, but she has the measure of him now
