Hay is usually around $2.75 (for the ok stuff) and $4 (for the really good stuff) and round bales go from $25 to $45 a bale. With $45 being a barn kept good mix alfalfa and orchard grass.

There was a map in the QH Journal that showed the average hay prices for each major city in the U.S. Pretty interesting. Here, the good stuff is $3.50-$4.00.

We sold our alfalfa/grass hay (100lb bales) for $80 per ton. Round bales of the same mix are $40.

I know I'm in NS but I pay $2 for a good grass hay 50 pound bales so $80 a ton, I have to pull it from the fields though. $3 from the barn. $30 to $45 for a large 5' across round bale. But for anything else you can expect upwards of $6 a small bale and $60 to $80 a large round (these would be alfalfa, but I find it grass is just as good as far is Mooney worried).
