Alfalfa cubes, There are little cracks in them which enable them to be split into wafers about 1/4" thick. If not a screwdriver works.

IMO, the best treat is carrots. It's low sugar, lots of fiber and cheap. You can even forget them in the barn and they haven't gone mushy 2 days later like other fruit.
