Hehe my horses are gonna hate me after this!

I saw these at our local dollar store and couldnt resist I had to get them to dress Shaggy and Blaze up for a christmas photo shoot! I do have one problem I can't decide if I wanna braid Shaggy's mane and put the bows ate the bottom of the braids or band his mane and put them at the top!

What do you guys think? As you can see his mane is super thick!

I would either braid and put them at the bottom, or just braid a few inches and put them there, leaving the rest loose (I vote this)!

I love the idea of braiding a few inches and then putting the bow in!

I haven't dressed my horses up in a couple years now. I had the deer antlers but when you squeezed them they play jingle bells LOL one year I dressed my mare as an angel, she had the wings/hallo, my appy gelding was an elf, he had a sack of toys and the hat with elf ears and my other gelding was santa, he had the hat and then I got the fake beard I put over his nose....I guess it was tickling him because he kept blowing it up off his nose LOL

I love all the different costumes you've done on your horses! The beard is too funny! I would have loved to have seen that!

I did get it video taped of him blowing the beard off his nose LOL my poor horses have put up with so much with me.....one time I blew up balloons and tied about 20 together and tied them on the horses on a windy day around their necks LOL they just ignored the balloons bopping them all over! Then one time I got those hula skirts (the plastic kind with all the colors), they fit perfectly around the horses head and make great fly masks LOL they looked so funny, I would call their names, they would look up and you couldn't see their faces though......ohhh these poor animals!

As soon as we get some snow my 2 kids and I are going to do a family xmas picture where we all sit on Tanners back bareback and we will be wearing santa hats. I have the antlers to put on the horse and I love the idea of the red bows in the mane....i am going to snag that idea!
