    Hello all!

After around 9 years of pretty much zero horse riding, I'm finally about to re-start!

I'm so, so excited! A lady near me owns this horse in the image, a beautiful Hanoverian with a wonderful temperament and he has two small adorable ponies for company. I will be able to ride him in return for helping her out with the yard - which is simply awesome.

I've been dying to finally get back in the saddle and I'm so happy to have this opportunity. Can't wait to call myself a proper horsey person once again! As it's been a while though it may take a moment for me to remember how to groom properly, muck out properly....and I imagine I'll be quite a 'rusty' rider when I get going again! I used to do cross country (favourite) and helped to back horses too, but it was so long ago I'm worried that even basic stuff like 'heels down' will be hard for me.

I've just bought myself a new riding hat, boots and jodhpurs - it was really exciting buying it again!

So hello everyone, it's a real pleasure to be able to join in with all the horsey talk and I'm looking forward to contributing

    Lozzy
